Walking distance from Grove Cottage the town, with a plethora of churches, museums, artisan and boutique shops, A beautiful chocolate-box theatre, lively cafe’s, bars, excellent restaurants and speciality food stores. Along with 3 cookery schools and weekly fresh fruit and vegetable markets really does offer something for every discerning traveller. Whilst also being just a short drive from some of the Umbria and Tuscany’s most famous hilltop towns, vineyards and wineries.
And for hikers or skiing enthusiasts, nearby Mount Amita offers trails and slopes for a range of abilities. The cottage is a short drive from the main-line train station from where you can enjoy day-trips to Florence, Rome, Sienna or Arezzo and still return in time for dinner.
